Appreciate the little things. Some day you will look back and realise they were the big things.
A while ago I felt some pain in one of my heels, and have been forced to rest from running and walking since then. I'll be honest , I've never been someone who really enjoys running. Sure, I can appreciate it once in a while, but I would never voluntarily run more than twice in the same week. But why do you always want what you can't have? Now, just because I can't, I really long after getting to run again. Every day. Putting my shoes on and heading out into the sunshine and just let my legs move me forward. Sometimes when I 'm out walking, I have to stop myself from running instead. But somehow it's a little great feeling, to feel the urge to exercise.
Sometimes you don't really appreciate what you have until it's gone ... Actually, we should be happy every day that you've got the ability to use your body in all the ways that you want, because it's far from all of us who have the opportunity and one day the time will have taken its toll even on the best. Next time I complain that I am tired, or don't feel like working out, I'll try to remember that it is actually a gift that I can work out.
